Colors are fun. Color is inspirational; motivational. It influences our feelings and keens the eye. It accentuates our features and distinguishes our personalities. You can mix and match colors to create such beautiful, coordinated outfits. Not to mention all the colorful accessories you can throw in to compliment your outfits even more.

Are you excited about the vibrant colors for the sun-filled seasons approaching? I’ve deemed spring to be my favorite season. It’s a lively, refreshing time of the year that takes its major color influence from sprouting vivid flowers and earthy radiance embracing nature’s rejuvenation.

According to Pantone and their designer trendsetters, you’ll be noticing these a color shift as the seasons change, including tints of softer blues to dazzling blues. Get ready for orange shades from cayenne to sunset color schemes, radiant hues of purples to pinks, natural greens, and not to mention of course all the lovely pastels that come with spring.

Pantone's Spring 2014 Color Trends

“This season, consumers are looking for a state of thoughtful, emotional and artistic equilibrium. While this need for stability is reflected in the composition of the palette, the inherent versatility of the individual colors allows for experimentation with new looks and color combinations.” – Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of Pantone Color Institute

Hemlock Pantone 2014 Spring Color Trend

I personally adore and voted for Hemlock;

Similar to the verdant shade of springtime foliage, Hemlock, a summery, ornamental green, provides a decorative touch that’s very different from the greens of recent seasons.

Cayenne and Radiant Orchid seems to be the most favored color trend of spring 2014 thus far. However, I can see myself giving love to all those colors on the list.
